The application period of the international competition for the development of architectural and town-planning concept for the territory of “Serp & Molot” plant has completed on November 7. 52 applications from consortiums, consisting of 157 companies from 17 countries of the world, were submitted within just 2 months.The customer of the competition is “Don Stroy Invest”, the contractor is theResearch and Project Institute of Moscow City Master Plan.

The qualification process starts this week and its results will be considered by the international jury of the Competition.It bears reminding that the jury consists of the leading experts of the sphere of urban development from Russia, Denmark, USA, France, Spain, Japan, and Germany.
On November 21-22,the Panel of Judges will determine 5 teams that will focus on the development of the concept forthe rearrangement of the territory of “Serp&Molot” plant. The selected participants will receive detailed technical assignment and will become familiar with the facility, for a better understanding of the task they are facing.
